How does the 400ex go the same speed as the Raptor?

I was wondering why it is that the raptor and the 400ex go almost th same speed. Tyhe raptor has 260cc more, how is it that they are so close?

the raptor is VERY tuned down in ATV form.

Are talking about it being tuned down from the street bike version in that is sold in Europe?

juggalo, what do you mean? Are you saying that you can retune the raptor to really kick ***?

maybe if the 400 has a real strong tail wind down a mine shaft.

The 400ex goes about 60mph the Raptor with the right size mains in the carbs about75-80!! If you go out and ride with one you will see they are not even close! Skydog

There is like a 10mph difference that's not close to the same speed if you ask me. My friend has a 400ex when we race it's not even close I smoke him on the old black and white!

yes i mean it is tuned down from the bike version from europe and yes you can retune em to go fast! also the 400 is tuned down in stock form. and speedwise is nowhere close in a drag without some mods.
