Well boys, this was the first new quad ive ever owned, Ive owned many quads and bikes, i'm only 14 but ive road since i was tall enough too. About 6 months ago i bought my 250EX and i love it. I always said when i bought a new quad i would do whatever i could to it. the only thing i got for speed right now is an air filter, but i plan on gettin more, i have a bunch of stuff for looks, like bars, grips, wheels, nerf bars. i thought about starting some gncc racing if it is possible next year. What do you guys think, do you think if i get some extras on my bike i would do aight. I got a yoshimura pipe coming for x-mas. Does anybody have a web site where i can get a jet kit for my bike?? well thanx for the info you give me.

An air filter wont give you anything unless you put other parts on to (pipe rejet)

Check this out. http://www.fourstroketech.com/fst_main.htm
very cool kit it's cheap and I guarantee this is as much power as you're presently going to add to the 250ex

O I would say atleast 30 more mph. Man if you wanted a speed demon why did you buy a 250ex? For real you won't gain ANY top speed at all unless you change the gearing but since its shaft driven you can't so the only way is the tires and you don't want to go over 22inch.

Dynojet.com I believe $45.
With a pipe, filter and jet-kit, your looking at about three to five mph faster.
The big gain is through out the rpm range you will have more power and be quite quicker. Almost all poeple believe thier bike is much faster after these mods but in truth, it corrects the imperfict power curve that the bike has from the factory.
I road a graet mx track this week end and be honest you can't do fourty on any track I've ridden so far. I also haven't been that quick in the woods yet niether.
You have a graet bike and every one here will agree riders abillity is everything.
I seen a hopped up recon waxxing a raptor on that track this week end so don't get blown away on "Top Speed"

Gear it down by putting 20in tires on and get a low end pipe and filter then rejet. The dynojet kits are ripoffs. I myself go to the dealer and buy a few jets for $2.50 apiece and do it myself
