Well, I was looking at my hole$h!t's today and I noticed that they were worn done to about 1/4 tread left, this pissed me off because when I bought my R they were brand new. I have also been getting flats and I could not find the hole. So I put in 20LBS and listened and I heard it! AH HA! I looked all over and then I looked at the rim and around the outer edge by the bead the tire was all ripped up and it looked as if it had been burnt, I looked at the other tire and the same thing was true for that one too. I could hear the air leaking out around the bead. So my question is are my rims spinning inside the tires? When I pin it I hear an odd noise and it feels like I am just sitting there spinning. If my rims are spinning inside the tires how do I stop this from ruining my tires even more?

well your main reason for your tires wearing so fast is that their holeshots and their a very soft tire and wear fast. i also know you like to do a lot of road riding so there is your problem right there. i have to travel the roads for quite a way on my EX and the stock tires are getting very low on tread THE QUAD IS BARELY 2 MONTHS OLD! also my tires spin alot because i like to hammer on it and i've also lit em up a few times too and thats another reason mine are gettin so bald and maybe you do the same thing. also as for your rims spinning in your tires it sounds like that may be the case and its ripping up your sidewalls.

I have slime in em, Yes I do lots of smokeshows and I know why the tread is worn but not the tires spinning in the rims, I know Dirtbikes can do this if they have enough power.

If you are doing a lot of burnouts, and you know why your tires are bald, then why do you ask? Do you ride the short bus to grade school or something?

The stupidity is obviously at a high level in these forums because me questions are very clear I want to know how to get my rims to stop spinning inside the tires. Nowhere in my post does it ask why the tread is worn down on my tires. What a fool ridzhard maybe you ride the short bus to school?

Are you running tubes? I know that can cause this to happen. If not, your tires are worn down anyways, so get some razrs.

After really looking at most of your posts, I do feel rather foolish. It is quite obvious that you have never been to school. Instead, you spend your time with ridiculous nonesense posts, just like this one.

I really really doubt that your rims are actually spinning inside your tires!

I have a 86 250r that has lots of mods.(runs about the same as a piped shee)And it doesn't spin the wheels inside of the tires.

It could be though.I don't ride on blacktop alot.even when I do they still don't.So I don't know.

And as for how to prevent his from happening.Their called beadlocks.

Or you could drill 4 small holes in the outer edge's of the wheels and put some sheet metal screws.
