My son threw a chain on his lakota, it put a hole in the transmission cover. I pulled the cover off and of course the gasket got torn. In order to replace the gasket you have to take off this part that is bolted around the sprocket shaft, I took off the 5 bolts but cannot get that part off. Thats my question, how does that part come off? I hope someone can help me, the local dealers don't know.

I threw my chain 3 different times. The second time, the gasket ripped when I pulled the trans cover. Put some liquid gasket on and go. Mine hasn't leaked in about a year of use.....

Default Replace gasket

I have the same problem but my gasket is completly torn of, so im going to have to replace it. How do you take off that center bearing around the shaft or do i just slit the gasket to fit around it.
