I use 22x11x9 Maxxis Sur-Trak's in mud and snow on my EX. They go great in the nasty stuff. Gets me around as good as my 4x4 in most places.

My friend has sur tracks on his 300EX and I must say they totaly suck ! I have 18" holeshots on my R and his Sur tracks are 22" and if we both drive slow through the mud w/o spinning em I do better then him. We even switched four wheelers and got the same results. Another friend of mine also has the sur tracks on his 300EX and I have seen nothing good from em. If you want a really good snow tires get some paddle tires, hear alot of people run the V style paddles for easier turning. GOOD LUCK with whatever you choose.

BTW where did you get the 20000 400ex ?? J/K lol

I have run 22" All Tracks on my 400EX. They are ok, but you definately want a larger tire. No smaller than 22" for sure.

i'd say get the realtors. i don't know what killer is talkin abtou holeshots suck in the mud and if he says they did better than sur tracs sure tracs must be suck. get the 22x12 realtors and you'll be all set.

Maybe you can tried PROWEDGE from OTHSU these tires are the best ever made for the snow... But be careful they wear verry fast on hard pack!
These tire are are soft and will expend with speed.
22-8 and 22-9 avalaible

well i got the spider tracs mounted and i tested and i will say that i made a very good decision i love em i went through a mudhole deeper than the tire and they refused to slip or spin they just hooked up and went they also grip fairly well and hard pack and they dont even slow down the machine that bad at all in the loose stuff these tires rule!!! buy the they add more width so its also more stable even with these heavy tall tires and 15/37 gearing my 400 will still hit 76 mph so they cant be that bad
