Well, Guys, I will be at some point very close to some of you as On DEC. 1st I will be flying to Norfolk Virginia and helping my friend who bought 2 ford truck's (96'F-350 with 38's) make the drive back to Oregon with a 18' flat bed with another 76; F1504x4 on it. We will be driving threw West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky,Indiania, and staying near Lebanon Missouri for a day, then Hauling *** up to Nebraska and over to Cheyenne Wyoming, over to Salt Lake and then to Boise and after 5 days Oregon! I wish I had more time to take a look at something other than pavement but I cannot. Looks like a fun drive, and also will be cool to see my GPS display 500MPH on the plane! We are not sure on the exact route, but will be for sure traveling threw the states above, so let me know of any speed trap states!! we will be usally going 10 over the posted speed.

Depending where you sit on the plane...don't be surprised if your GPS will not aquire while flying. I was all worked up to play with mine while on my last flight. Did not work very well.... The stewardess kept telling me to turn off my cell phone... what a ditz. Anyways...you will get sick of holding the gps against the window waiting for an aquire.
When it did work...it was kinda neat to see the speeds and more than that...the altitude....seeing that I was at 20000 plus ft was cool.

Be very careful about your speeds in Indiana and Illinois. They will nail you for 5 over on the Interstates. Idaho you can safely run 80 in teh Interstates, Utah's the same as Idaho as long as the roads are dry.

I assume you will be on 81 if you are going through VA and West Va. Watch out near Christiansburg, VA. There is alot of construction and an equal amount of police in that area. I have been through Utah twice the last time was on 70 and we were in a rental car going about 100mph the whole time to the Richfield Jamboree. We did not see the first police officer.
Good luck, my dad had the bright idea of coming back rte. 10 from Utah. I ended up getting an 80mph in what should have been a 55mph zone. However, the officer wrote it as a 70mph zone. It was right as I entered the city limits of Amarillo, TX. I think it is one of those places and I dont think it was the first ticket he had written that night. It was pretty good seeing him do a double jump through the median to catch up with me.
