G-turn on a trx250r
#1
I was riding this weekend on an paved lot near my home just goofing off, wheelieing , sliding and cornering. Then, while practicing some heavy braking and turning excercises, I applied a little too much front brake. I was coming down from about 20 mph during the brake/turn and was down to about 2-5 mph when the rear end came up kinda like a stoppie but instead of just bringing up the rear, the rear swing around to the right. i let go of the front brake fearing I was over the balance point and the quad rode about 5 feet backwards on it's front tire before the back came down. The closest thing I've seen to this is a skate/bike trick called a g-turn. I wish I have a camera because it must have looked cool.
Has this ever happend to anyone?
I wish I could reproduce it but I don't have the guts or skill. Maybe this could be a new thing, flatland, freestyle quading.

I've never did it on my R, but I have done it a few times on accident on my recon. I was coming down a long open stretch and applied all my front brakes while turning without using any throttle or back brakes, it rode on the front wheel for a while, then i got scared and let of the brake, then rolled a bit, then put the brakes back on and it came up again... it was scary

Somebody give me a left case half, give me some time, and I'll try. I have confidence in my jumping abilities, and Pro Tapers are unbendable

Well, on an ATC it is easy to spin around, not so easy to get up though. I have only got the rear end up once so far and I almost fell over to the side. I'd have to say the best quad that I've ridden to do an endo on is my old mojave, I had someone on the back and the front end still came up, and that was on red cinder!!
