If I had the money I would jump on this. On ebay someone is selling a honda NSR250r engine!!!! If you are not familiar with this bike it's a 2 cylider, two-stroke 250cc engine that weights next to nothing. If I remember correctly the entire bike weights just over 200 lbs and puts out over 65 HP at the rear wheels, built NSRs put out about 80 HP and up.

Check it out

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing this probably because they are so rare but this engine is a trx250r frame would be wild.

Any details you can give us on what type of bike it was put in? What years? How many speed the tranny is? Just general info. I'm a little currious about it.

Need4Speed, the bike was the honda nsr250r. I believe it was made between 87 and 97. It is a full breed GP race bike. You could find more info on it by putting nsr250r into a search engine. What made theses bike increadible was the power to weight ratio, it is a 6 speed with dual carbs. It is so light you could literally pick it up and put it on your shoulders. The engine weights the same if not lighter that a standard 250r engine. parts are still avaliable from honda dealers. I'm a big fan of this machine if a complete bike becomes avaliable in my area my trx is for sale.

This thing would run circles around a crf250 and is much more reliable, these bikes are designed to be ridden hard for 3 - 5 hour races at wide open throttle.
