Finally got the chance to see how my recently rebuilt, but stock
350X with Supertrap exhaust would hang with a Raptor. (or two, actually)

Keep in mind this is my first race on this machine against any, so I had no idea.
These guys are both good friends of mine, so it was all in good fun... I knew they would beat me, they BETTER HAD with all those CC's.

This was down a slightly downgrade wide dirt road, long enough for us to completely wind out in top gear.

First race was agains the raptor with the worn rear tires.
To my surprize, I jump out in front quickly and held the lead untill I was high in 4th.
Those 660CC's took over.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] He passed me and held a 3-4 bike length lead.

Second race was with the other raptor, and his good rear tires.
Same result, exept I would hold the lead untill 3rd. These guys would not creap away too far though!!
Im surprized (they were too!) at how quick the X is. I asked if they thought based on how our races turned out, if I could beat a 400. They both nodded, and said no doubt.

Regardless, I still miss my 400EX badly (I used to be user MrC01400EX) before I got my 350X. Had to sell for financial reasons. I am saving my pennies for another EX, and should have one in about 3 months. Sadly, I will have to sell my 350X to get one. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
