Will a DG front bumper for a 400Ex fit on a 250X/300Ex? if not, can you modify it to fit, and how hard would it be?

Yes it will. You will have to bend the brackets INWARD to make it fit. It isn't a big deal at all, and you can't tell that it wasn't made to fit.

Just don't try it with the chrome version or you will risk fracturing the chrome plating.[not a pretty sight]
