DOES ANYONR IF YOU CAN BUY HEAVIER SPRINGS FOR THE 650?

I called a dealer, he called Kawi and they said they are thinking about making heavier springs, but not sure if their going to. However, I contacted Progressive and they are making an adjustable kit for the 650 but don't know when it will be out. They said to try back Jan. 1st.

As far as the plow, It pushes a lot of snow. Even the wet 8" that fell here in MN. But I think the thing is too heavy. I'm using a winch to lift the blade but I have the winch installed in the factory spot. It is too low so it doesn't lift the blade, it just pulles it back towards the winch. I fixed this by making a pulley mount and running the rope up and back down to the blade, it works good. I just think it's too heavy and with Kawasaki not offering H/D springs the front sags way too low (I'm thinking of trying Polaris's rubber spacers?). I called the dealer and talked to him about trading my blade kti for a Cycle Country 60" regular blade kit with a manual lift, don't know if he'll go for it. Like every one else says, the county design really throughs the snow. It's a little different to come back and see that the area I just cleaned off doesn't have a windrow of snow on either side of it.

 

you guys may want to contact works shocks they are making struts for the polaris's maybe they have something for your quads i know the ones for the polaris's are like riding a whole new quad now that i installed them on mine plus they are adjustable. i dont really know how yall front struts are made but.. the ones they have may work.

 

I had the same type of problem with my bike.I put a 3/8in spacer in the front and it did the trick,also in the spring time you could remove them and get your sport ride back.Hope this helps.

 

Had anyone purchased and installed these new front spring for the 650
I am serously thinking of getting a pair but want to try to find some feedback about them

I want to get the Progressive kit, I am recovering from tire/wheel purchase, though!

 

I want to get the kit this summer within the next month or so. This way I can play with it before the snow falls next year and I put the plow on right now it is sitting in the box.
