I am also interested in this feedback. Also, do you guys experience nuts loosening up like the mags say?

After 1 week I lost one of the bolts holding on my grab bar. After about 20hrs the bolts on the rear sprocket loosened up and put a small dig in my swingarm. I now use loc-tite and have not had any problems since. Any other quad with as much power/torque as the Cannondale will most likely have the same issues.

SparkyEx,
I believe you sent me an email about riding sometime. I have also been emailing another guy who lives near Rochester who rides a raptor. We may get together this weekend to ride although not sure how much fun I will have on my wife's trailblazer. I would love to see a Cannibal up close as that is the leading candidate for my next machine. Send me another email if you are interested and hopefully the weather will cooperate. We could meet at my 24 acres in Macedon. I have a small track that I hope to expand upon next spring.
Jim

I haven't had any significant problem with my cannibal. The grab bar was loose when i got it. It drips a little oil out the vent tube. In fact, it performs better/smoother everytime I ride. That is til i wrecked it a couple weeks ago and kinked the throttle cable! Must have about 25 hours now. I'm not disappointed.

Where does it say you have to remove the engine and adjust the valves every 25 hrs. I think your talkin about the swing arm bearings. I doubt you would have to take the engine out after every 25 hrs.

I dont know to much about the cannondales but maybe they mean 25 hours like after you first get it, when your done breaking it in??
And also how hard is it to adjust the chain,,and is the suspension better then most stock quads or is it average??

Well, Chain adjustment on the cannibal is a snap, 10 minutes tops. An oil change is a multistep process that includes 4, yes four seperate drain bolts. I personally have only found 3! It really isn't a problem though. Maybe 1/2 hour. The transmission oil is seperate and a quick change. The air filter setup is great and requires the front plastic removed for maintenance. 10 minutes. The manual does call for a 25 hour valve check/adjustment that does require dropping the engine. I'm gonna give that a try this winter with the help of RS performance tip page. Probably take me all winter! The suspension is DramaTically better than a warrior, my only longterm comparison. I suspect the ohlins shocks are better than any stockers except maybe the other c'dales. I paid 6,600 for mine.
It is a great bike and almost no one you know has one. Go For It!

Oh okay, I didn't think about that. Ryanstones, the valve adjustment is just for the first 25hrs. right? It would really suck to have to take the engine out every 25 hrs. The guy at the dealership really pissed me off. I called today to ask if the Cannibal that HE SAID HE WOULD HOLD FOR ME was in yet, He said yes but he had to put it together so I asked him if he would be able to hold it till Saturday. Well, he tells me that he can't hold it with out a deposit! Well ****, that really pissed me off! If he cant hold on to it for me than why in the hell would he say he could! I would tell him that I will just take my business elsewhere since he lied to me, but the next closest Cannondale dealer is about a 4 hr. drive away! I'm gonna try to go tomorrow and hopefully they still have it. The other one they just got in was sold before they could even start putting it together. Wish me luck!
