planning on running the mobil one gear oil. so i called 1 800 ask mobil. he said if your machine calls for the gl-4 theres is rated gl-5 not good to run. could cause damage. also told me that the 15/50 mobil one car oil has friction modifers in there in the us. but the europe cars oils are different.
that why triump motorcycles run the m/c oil.anyway thats what he said anybody finds out anything different let me know.

what kind of oil is ok for the gear boxes, my front is limited slip. like to now whats good to run. have some valoline blend and the mobil 1 full sly i was talking about. are any of these two safe to run.
