Killer I dont know about GNCC racing, but as far as MX if there ever comes a time when you need to use reverse the race is over for you anyway, unless your an excellent racer racing with alot of not so good racers. I think overall the C-Dales have more thrill than a Raptor, but you may like different things than I do, like reverse, lots or torque, easier to ride engine ect. Just go test ride a Cannondale if you can (I noticed you already had a 01 Raptor) and I think your mind will be made up pretty quick. Let us know what you get o.k.

Killer, I dont have any pics (I dont have a camera for my computer or a scanner yet, I may get these for x-mas). I got my bars from Chaparral, they were $85 for the bars + $60 for the oversized universal mounting kit.
Juice I've spent little time, very little time, on an 01 Raptor. From just my seat of the pants feel the Raptor seemed to have more torque than my FX. But my FX seemed to rev alot quicker and get through the gears faster. The Raptor seemed to have an easy to ride engine, while the FX takes some time to get used to. My FX pulls hard all the way until 5th gear but it just seems like it doesnt have as much torque as the Raptor. Also the Cannondales will usualy pull the holeshot up against almost anything with a good rider on board.
