Banshee Vs. Lt 500
#3
LT500 is the fastest production quad ever produced. Around 50HP at the rear wheels with only 392lbs to weigh it down. The banshee is not that far behind however.
LT500
392LBS/50hp (56.6HP with pipe and porting)
7.84LBS per 1 HP
Banshee
386LBS/39hp
9.89LBS per 1 hp
DS650
420LBS/47hp
9.78LBS per 1 hp
Which is better? I'd say that the quadzilla would be better for sand because of its much wider and longer stance with only 6lbs more weight than a banshee. The down side is the LT500 engines are sometimes tempermential, expecially when modifyed. If only suzuki would have perfected this beast and kept it in production. Everyone would be asking whats a banshee?

I agree, I dont think anyone will ever put a 500cc engine in an atv chasis. They are a true legend and I will pull mine out of the garage after 10 years. The banshee is a great machine but to many people have them...and then your just the same as everyone else.
