Whats up man, how are you doing. Im getting my raptor in about a week and if your mom is giving you trouble tell her that the machine is way to fast for you and you are concerned about getting into an accident on it. You may want to tell her that the machine goes about 75 mph stock compared to other machines that don't go quite as fast such as the Mojave, 400ex or Lakota. This is probably what I would do. Also I believe that the raptor can be set up for racing with tons of mods, but ive heard the best racing machine is probably the 400ex even though sometimes I dont agree with it. I really love the raptor it is a truley sweet machine. Take care, I hope everything works out for you.
