In 4-wheel atv action mag. they say Kasea is making a 250cc 4-stroke twin in 2002 for $2699! How does a twin compare to a 250x or 300ex?

 

Dirtwheels said it was gutless no power.

 

You forgot to put the mojave in there!it will keep up and beat 300exs.I have raced a blaster,300ex,500 honda,and i have beaten all of them.Next tim dont for get to put the mojave in there.Now to get to your guestion,that is a good price for any new ATV,no matter what it is.But what are they like are they relieable?????[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

Hi, the Kasea 250 twin 4 stroke is essentially a copy of their 150 Skyhawk that is a copy of a Blaster with a bored out XL125 Honda engine. The 250 twin is the Honda Rebel engine from years gone by. Kasea updated it slightly and added dual carbs on their test model. They hoped to have a production roll out before xmas but it looks like it will be February.

I have already started going through old notes on the Rebel motor and pulled some old cam specs out to be one step ahead of the crowd on that unit. Stock it is marginal at best but with some simple mods, it should be a snappy performer in the 300ex class.

For a few bucks, it could be a good runner.

 

IF I remember right they also said the suspension wasn't that good and it had a set of works shocks on it !! I think it's a peice but think what you want.

I wouldnt pay that much for a 50CC quad..............
