i have a cousin that sent his to ct racing- ( i'm pretty sure that is where) he had their 240cc? kit installed and it was about 800$ and very fast fer a blaster. but you may want to just move into a bigger quad. banshee, 400ex or a raptor. no mater how much you spend you will still have a blaster and be limited to 250 cc or so. as you modify you generally lose reliability. if you had a stock banshee you will be alot faster but have oem reliability. im not saying modifying is bad but there are always trade offs. imho
hope i helped.

it was night and day. the blaster could hand with some of the local 250r's . those 250's were mostly stock with maybe a pipe. the only caution was that he had to do alot more work to ride as hard. he is an excellent rider and he spent alot of time WFO to keep with us. we had a tri-z, two 250r's and my banshee. we ride alot of woods mixed in with long streaches of fire lane. my banshee's suspension was stock so i couldn't hand in the woods but when they opened up it was another story. if you decide to get the kit i would recoment upgrading the suspension. if you race mx just because you have the hp doesn't mean you win. you have to get around the track and better suspension will make a huge difference. as far as reliability with the kit- he has had it for 3yrs? and has had no problems. he did away with the oil injection sustem and went pre-mix. not a bad idea imho. he is also very particular about upkeep. he doesn't cut corners. i think this is very crucial to the long term life of any quad. if you race this is even more important because racing at a competative level does put additional strain on the motor.
anyway i hope this helps. you can email me direct if you want.

maybe you should upgrade your suspension first. i guess it depends on how competative you are. if you seem to run near the front against heavily modified blasters then a suspension upgrade may be the best. when you alter the power output of your quad to a large degree your stock suspension usually isn't up to the task. by having a better suspension you can attack the track at a faster speed. where you used to slow down because of bottoming or your blaster " tipped " as you went through the corner - a better suspension with upgraded geometry won't do that and will let you go faster with less work on your part. but if you think your suspension or your talent is up to the hp then buy the kit. i'm just saying that if a new quad isn't in the plans , then upgrading your boingers should be an item on your upgrade list. you have to decide where it fits into your plans. the best quad isn't always a win. you need talent, determination and you must be prepared. i used to race sled, dirtbikes(125's) and my banshee and the most prepared people(bike and mental) tend to do better.

thats what my friend who is in college says, " a tuned rider is better than a tuned bike", thanks for the info, i think i'll get the suspension first.

I know a lot of people may disagree, but if you are wanting to jump long jumps then you have a lot of work to do. The first thing I would do is to look into upgrading your shocks, your wheels are for light duty, go with a .190 and then so it doesn't tear your arms off when you land I would buy a steering stabilizer. If you are wanting to go faster there are different ways to go depending on how mechanically able you are. As you can see from my list I went with Treng-a racing. He was very fair and has a tremendous reputation. Before sending your motor off give hime a call and tell him what you want to do and how much you want to spend and he can help you. He built my motor for about half price. As for keeping up with a banshee or 400ex, yes it will but those are stock machines not modified. I agree with upracer though a good rider on a moderate machine can beat a poor rider on a highly modified one.

New shocks would be the best mod with a heavy duty rear axle and light weight hubs, 190 rims.
