power band is stronger when cold need to jet lean or rich?

you need to re-jet you are lean. you need a bigger main jet! cold air leans out
your mixture cold air is more dense= more air

vmax/yama, mean when the motor was cold not the weather. so if the machince was sitting for awhile and then i punch it. the powerband felt stronger. is it still the same and does that mean need to jet richer.
