i got a tecate4 yesterday and i need some new parts..please help me find them.

who makes a good kickstarter that wont brake?

and front and rear plastic..i have heard a few say that noone makes front plastic..is that true? and also is the maier rear plastic any good?

Check Ebay and Maier makes a full set of plastic for the Tecate's. How much did you pay for it? was it the one with the 300 kit?

 

yes it is the one with the 300 big bore kit..the thing rips i havent even had it in 5 yet..are you sure they make a full set of plastic?does it look good? and how much is it?

and i traded my warrior for it.

 

Some people say that Maier plastic looks like crap but I have only seen a quad with one set and it looked alright, it was white(for an LT250) I am almost positive they make a full set. In dirtwheels I have seen ads and I thought it was a pic of Maier Tecate-4 fenders. Oh yea, FYI a T4 has 6 gears, if you didn't know(thought you might not know since you said I haven't got it into 5th) I think the set is somewhere around $200, not positive. Enjoy it!

 

yes sir i know it has six gears..i dont really have anywhere to open it up so i havnt yet..and i think i saw that add for the tecate 4 plastic in dirtwheels..i think it was for 150 but i thought it was just rear plastic..maybe i was wrong.


i have some tecate parts if anyoe is interested..and im looking for a set of 9 inch rims that will fir the rear of a 88 tecate4

GOOD LUCK FINDING TECATE 4 FRONT PLASTIC!!! Maier only makes the rear plastic. Maier is ok but kind of a pain to install as you have to drill your own holes. My good riding buddy recently sold his Tecate because it is nearly impossible to find parts for. I have the front hood for it in Kawasaki green. It is a little cracked up but not horrible.
