I'm sure most of you have seen them cars and trucks that have the flame thrower thing on the pipe, you hit a switch and some how a flame comes out the pipe. I was JW if that could be done and a quad, and how? Thanks, Killer.

If i remember correctly, this is how i was told a car will shoot fire.

somehow or another you buy some spark plug wires and hook it up to your battery, when you are ready to make it shoot fire, you have to shut your car off and still be stepping on the gas, and then start it back up and still be on the gas. This will dump raw fuel through your exhaust, and then it will catch a spark from the spark plugs and then you will have fire.

Is this true, i think that was how i was told to do it.

my dad split the fuel line on his fully restored 76 chev 1/2 ton and hooked a fuel injection system to the exhaust and ran a spark plug back there to light it. it would probly melt ur plastic on a quad

I was told that you drill a hole in your exaust for the sprk plug, then run another coil on your quad, I don't know if it'd work, or how you would run another coil.

from wanting to do it myself you splice your sparkplug wire and run one wire to the exhaust with a spark plug attached and when you want to throw flames you choke it until it almoost dies then unchoke and gun it and it blows out that unburned fule and the spark plug ignites it

As far as I know you are supposed to just drill a hole in the pipe< screw in a spark plug. You wire the plug up to your battery and to a switch so that when you hit it th spark plug, well, sparks. I would sugest rigging up somesort of pipe extension similar to a snorkle so that you don't wreck your pipe!
I saw the directions a while back and had them saved on the computer but as my luck goes it crashed and wiped out the hard drive so I lost it all. I will look around to see if I can find it again. If I can I will post them.
