My brake pedal and hand brake are both extremely stiff. The back brakes are locked on. i can't even budge the machine if its in neutral.. even if i loosen the adjustments all the way. I still can't get it to unlock. Does anyone have any ideas. Or even help me know where to start. I am a computer guy [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] not a mechanic but i wanna fix it myself.. Any help at all is greatly appreicate.. Thanks in advance.

 

Rusted tight? Frozen on? Take it apart and look to see why the pads are glued to the drum, or why the lever does no move. Oh yeah, disconnect the rear brake first to see if the lever or cable are stuck or whether the stuck stuff is in the lever or drum.
