i rode my 02 raptor this weekend and it ran fine only about 1/2 the time . it would spit , sputter and backfire til it clears it self out. i can smell gas when it's running like crap. my filter is clean and haven't touched the carb. i've ran only 5-6 tanks of gas through it since new. any help would be great for i'm on vacation and i'm planning on riding alot this week.

 

U might want 2 check ur choke and see if it is oni did that 1 time on my wrrior

 

sounds like the beast is thirsty, try cleaning the carbs, mine did that, and i had to clean the bowls.
