I have a '98 Lakota. I figure the Kawasaki is the best... but you never know.

What do you guys use?

I brought this subject up some time back, and got a bunch of good replies.
I was running castrol 10W-40 and when it started to cool down some I changed to 20W-50. The change in wieght was real noticiable, it took longer to warm up and the clutch slipped longer than usual, but with both wieghts after a real good warm up, they worked fine and no clutch slippage.

When I installed the IDS2 header I could hier the engine very well over the stock exhaust and it concerned me expecialy during warm up, how you could hier the engine quite loudly so I brought it up on here.
Some body mentioned amsoil synthetic motor oils, I run it in my truck, like how it worked thier, so I got some.
I tested it in my lakota and a CR-125, it works graet a deffinate difference, The engine runs cooler and has absolutely no noice at start up all the way through warm up.
The one thing you will like the most is how the tranny works encredibly smooth now. I beet on mine, do a lot of mx track riding wich forces you to do a lot of shifting at high rpm's
I can't say much more on how I like this.
Thiers synthetic 4-stroke oil 0W-40, or you can try motorcycle engine oil wich comes in 10W-40 or 20W-50, or thiers series 2000 racing oil in 20W-50.
