I am totally rebuilding my raptor for next season and i was wondering about what type of shocks, a-arms, swing arms and axles you guys are running out there. I was thinking about running +2+1 in the front with a +2 swing arm And +2 axle. I have been looking at elka, axis, and pep shocks. Also any other sugestions would be great for any plart of the quad.

Thanks

Hey Hyper660r,

Your quad looks sweet. I give you credit. Is it still wheelie happy with the +2 swing arm? Are you running stock spindles with your a-arms?

well if you look at the baja 1000 the Duncan bike has them and I think he won not positive....but yes I would say so...I am going to get it, just dont have all the money yet....If you ask anyone what shocks are the best they will tell you custom axis........I like the long travel cause I like to jump high but....yes I personally think it is worth it....

I HAVE THE LOBO 2 SETUP ON ORDER, SHOULD BE DELIVERED IN ABOUT A WEEK....ORDERED DIRECT FROM GWENN AT ROLL DESIGN... I GOT THE REAR CUSTOM AXIS DUAL ADJUSTABLE SHOCK THRU THEM TOO. I HAVE ON ORDER THE RPM +2 SWINGARM / MILLENIUM CARRIER / +3 DOMINATOR AXEL TO COMPLETE THE REAR SUSPENSION SETUP...I HAVE DONE ALL THE RESEARCH...NEXT TO WALSH RACING CRAFT, (I WAS GOING TO DO HIS STUFF, BUT HE IS TOO BUSY WITH FRAME BUILDING) ROLL DESIGN IS THE BEST...ROLL DESIGN LOBO 2 WITH TRIPLE RATE, COMPRESSION ADJUSTABLE, CUSTOM AXIS SHOCKS IS THE GREAT SETUP...TIMMY BOY WITH TCS OR PEP IS A GOOD SETUP....LONESTAR AND TCS OR PEP IS A GOODSET UP....ELKA AND HOUSER IS A GOODSET UP....DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO SPEND....I ALSO AM SCHEDULED WITH CURTIS SPARKS TO HAVE HIS 690 MOTOR KIT INSTALLED COMPLETE WITH PORT /POLISH, 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB, FCR CARBS, AIRBOX AND PIPE KIT...I WILL POST PIC'S OF MY RAPTOR AT THE END OF MARCH...WHEN I AM DONE PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER....SHOULD BE A REALLY FAST AND GREAT HANDLING RAPTOR....GOING TO KICK SOME BUTT THIS SUMMER IN NEATV-MX IN NEW ENGLAND...
HERBDON OUT....
