Well its been a little over a month since I had my T4. And now I finally got the frame and suspension componets sand blasted and ready for the poweder coating. Anyway, here is what I plan to do to this T4. Instead of making an all out custom quad I plan to make it closer to original and by original I mean original if Kaw still made the T4 today. My 2002 Tecate will have Team Green Frame, silver A-Arms and Swing Arm, silver engine and I will custom design graphics and seat cover to take a cue from the 2002 KX Bikes. I will have some upgrades though, FMF Pipe and Silencer, which I already have, durablue axle, new handle bars and controls. Totally redone engine possibly with the 300 kit. This machine will not see mud (thats what the Lakota and 400EX is for). I will only use it for sand drags and dune riding. I will get picts in progress as on my site soon.

 

good luck with the rebiuld and all...i just got a 88 tecate-4 with a 300cc big bore kit and a fewother mods..if you get the 300 kit you will really like it..but make sure you widen the front end..its not very stable. good luck and enjoy the new toy
