A dealer told me the K&N filter will not fit on my adaptor made for the Pro Design foam. I can't imagine there is that much difference from the two. Also, did anyone buy a Pro-design filter with adaptor without the red foam(Raptor)? Ours come without it and same dealer said they all come with it. I read it in the instuctions but just figured we had to buy it seperate. Thanks for any info.

is your pro-design flang a one hole design or the new 2 hole. if you got the
new 2 hole design the kn will fit.
but your best source of info will be from the man who built it

My pro-design set-up came with the red outer layer in a separate plastic bag. The outer layer is recommended for extremely dusty conditions. Mine is still in the bag.

 

All polls tallied and yes sir, I was suppose to get the other red layer. Boy, I hope it was a mistake, I hate having to beg some dealers to give me what I paid for. Or other ones that think they know everything. I don't mind hearing, " You know, I'm not sure about that, I'll have to ask someone smarter than me." instead of finding out later that their talking out their ****. Thanks again.

By the way, mine is the two holer. I'm not the smarest guy either, but I know if I was sent that oval filter junk, I would have known that wasn't going to work.
