Boring won't give you as much as a higher compression piston will, go to www.fourstroketech.com and click on kit of the month, this will get you were you want to be!!!!

It's a 11:1 compression piston ($150) IDS2 exhaust ($239) and filter ($15)

The pipe, well he's sponsered by supertrapp, but I have one and love it, but go to rocky mountain atv, thier $199
I also recommend a dynojet jet kit, about $50, and a high flow filter.

The pipe jet kit and filter will wake it up a bunch, after this a piston, and cams will do the trick!!

Four stroke tech builds the piston for my lakota, I don't know about the honda, take a look at wiesco and see if they offer one, if they do it's about $50 cheaper, although micky builds his to use pump gas, just a thought.

I've ridden with some recons and 250EX's with these kits thier much faster!!!!

When u mean "much faster" be more specific i know the normal top speed for the 250EX is 51 MPH what would it be with the kit?
And can i bore it out and use the kit?

Well I'm not much on top speed so, well who cares.

What I can say with my mods, it changed from 51 to a little over 58 on a gps, but the low end and mid range pull way, way harder!

I want the high comp piston to work with the cam and mild porting I'm going with, but the kawi, my mods, what can I say, it fits me very well. Thiers better, but this works for me!!

Mickey always says he can do any size, you may want to call him he may have a big bore kit.

But the best way to handle mickey is to tell him what you want the quad to do and what type of riding you do, and he will set you up!!!!!

you'd be a lot better off getting a 300ex or 400ex. i don't even think any1 offers a big bore kit for the 250ex.
