im 14 1/2 and im tring to pay my rancher off and i have $3500 more to pay. can you get a job anyplace at age 14? people have told me you can some places. is this true? what places would i be able to work at? i worked at a xmas tree farm b4 christmas and with my dad somtimes. i want to hurry up and pay my rancher off so i can get a Banshee and race MX. is anyone else under 16 and have a job.

 

I think u can work at McDonald's cant u?? Or Maybe u have to be 15. Im not sure.

You can probably get a job at your local places.. DQ, Sonic.. Whatever.. just look around, you'll find something.

 

I know you can get a job at 14, but you have to get your parents to sign a workers permit to allow you to.

 

Permit my foot maybe in your state. I have been working since 11 and I have had no permits, I too worked to pay off my fourwheeler. I need to get another job now to pay for insurance on my truck.

 

I admire your ambition to work at such an early age,especially when alot of kids choose to stay in school and participate in sporting events ect.Check out your local Micky Ds,Arbys,Burger King, ect,I beleive they cater to kids your age?They dont pay real good and I think the work is mentally challenging,however,long term rewards in your self esteem and the fact that your tring to pay off a quad,may help your job Resume when you get older.

Yes you can get a job at 14 but do need a work permit that can be provided by yur school. You just need to look around and go to some local businesses ad ask if they are higering or need some part time help. You just gotta go out and talk to peaple cuase I doubt you will find job offerings in the paper for a 14 year old.

 

I live in NC, so maybe it's just a state law. I'm only 16, but my dad wont let me work during the school year. Only during the summer. He says i need to stay in my studies, and play at least two sports a year. So i make straight a's and play soccer, and baseball everyyear. I've got two yards though that he lets me cut, and i get $20 dollars for each of them. SO that's about eighty bucks a month, plus my allowance.

if you dont live in a city work on a farm
is not hard for me to find work because i live on a farm
farmers allwasy need more help and it pretty good money
thats how i got my 200sx, snowmobile and 4500 to by a new 400ex
and im only 14 too
