Not sure where you are from DTRAIN, but I bought mine in New Haven, IN for $5400 brand new out of the crate. I love mine and think I got a pretty good deal on it.

Hmm..I paid 6300 for my 01 500 SC 4x4 on October 10, 2000. I also have a speedometer and a rear rack. This was in Michigan.

A friend just bought a left over 01 for $5400 + tax. Thats less than I paid for my 98 $5600 + tax.

I paid $5270 out the door, no tax in Oct 2001 for a 2002. Three dealers quoted me the same price, 1 in WI, 1 in IL and 1 in IN. I bought from the guy in IN since IN does not charge tax for out of state sales and IL does not require registration of quads so they can't hit you for the tax. If you can cross the border and save the sales tax it would be worth it. Get on the phone and start calling, I drove 120 miles and saved over $1000 compared to the dealer in my back yard.
