Just finished installing oil injection block kit,
Took a little longer than expected, that damn left hand screw.....Grrrrrr.
Just wondering if I need to remove the pump wiring that goes into the crankcase??
Any advice would be appricated.....Thx

I removed pump, shaft with spline on it etc, installed plug & block off plate, then unplugged loom at oil tank & removed tank. Now the loom I unplugged is now hanging on its own, this loom runs bach to the crankcase about 1" above where I installed the block off plate..

thank you for the response, took the 2 screws off and the pump itself comes off, now the actual pump drive is still left in the crankcase, i can see how you could just put plate on and cover it up, but the drive would still be driven by the crank and bouncing around in there, am i way off here, please let me know

i wonder if the 250 eliminator kit is suppose to have something to secure the drive gear in place. its gotta be different than the 400 w/ just a block off plate. try calling aaen or hot seat. i remember when i got mine the parts guy said mine was missing a part, so he called and they said that was all that was needed for the 400. Makes me think there has gotta be something else, also looked it up on aaens site and it lists two kits one for 350/400 and one for 250. sorry i dont have a quick answer, you'd think someone would. good luck.
