Hello All, I am looking for somw help on a 95 blaster I bought for my wife a few months ago, it has a 240 kit in it with mild porting, the problem is they put the stock carb and reeds back on it with 300 mains. It runs ok as is but I want it to run like a 240 should. She rides mostly on uphill rocky trails at slower speeds. was thinking about a 34mm pj with a read spacer for more lower bottom end. Am I headed in the right Direction??
They say this engine should keep up with my 250R but it don't. Oh ya, FMF gold pipe and silencer, 14thooth,holeshots,uni filter no lid, pre-mix.
Thanks for your replys.

Yes, you should definately invest in a larger carb. The 34mm PJ is the most common. I run one with my porting/head mods. The small carb is really restricting the power output on your engine.

A larger 34mm carb will give you less bottom end, but a great topend.

If you are looking for a good middle, try a 28mm.

For the best lowend grunt and something that's easy to ride, stick with the stock carb.

Thanks for the reply, ya, I want it to be easy to ride with more bottom and mid so thanks for the info. I was wondering what the 34 would give me. Will the 34 with a reed spacer help give back some of the bottom and mid back?
