i have a 1996 honda 300 4x4 and what do u think would be the best tires to put on it.

I have vamps on mine, and without the power mods, they wouldn't turn very well. I would reccomend a lighter and smaller tire unless you are doin some serious muddin.

 

on those vamps u would have to change the rims right?

 

On mine did, but thats because i wanted to go with 12 inch rims. If i stuck with the 11 inch rim size, i could've had them mounted on my stock rims. I have trouble though keeping air in the back tires, the bead must not be seated right.

holeshot XTC's aren't made for the 4x4 300........

for general trail riding and moderate mudding and anything else go for some BearClaws or SpiderTracs,

maily mudding go for Dirt Devils, mudbugs, or vamps with motor mods

 

we got 489xt that are anh inch taller in front and back on steel rims and it handles a whole lot better. these tires are 6 ply and grip good in all kinds of terrain.

 

Ok, i had a 96 honda fourtrax also and i was having a difficulty choosing what tire to put on mine. try GBC mudsharks these tires rip through mud and throw it away.not too bad of a price but wear sorta fast 4ply.
