Does anyone know a way to change the factory configuration of the high/low beams on the Sportsman quads? I want all three headlights on when I put the high beams on. The way it comes from the factory is when you put on the high beam the two lower headlights go out. I don't like that. Thanks.

Montana Jacks sells the kit I have on my HO. It was very easy to install and with shipping cost me under $25.00. It helps alot because I ride at night in my woods and gives the best of both worlds. Just email them and ask them about compatablity with the 700.

I've done this modification this week-end on my 700. Under front cover, simply connect a wire between brun wire of low beam (left or right, anyway) and the red/white wire left for accessories alimentation (look at your electric diagram, page 53 of owner book). Add an on/off switch on this new wire.
And then, with the switch, you can "force" the low beams to be on everytime, even when hi beams are one or when lights are off.

when the Mfg sends you your new product satisfaction survey, and ask for suggestions, write in the dual headlight thing. they might just listen to suggestions.
just a thought..MT

play with the switch there is a happy medium wich turns all the lights on or you can rewire the lights to were they all work in one position. I know on the 500 there is a terminal block under the hood were this connection can be made easily.

I ordered the kit form Montana Jack's. It is super simple to install and for the price I like it better than making my own splices and connections. Also, there is no chance of it bouncing from one side to the other like if you play with the switch in the middle. Thanks for all the ideas though. By the way, Montanna's has a lot of interesting accessories. Check them out at http://www.montanajacks.com/

SilverV10,
I need to know exactely how their kit works. In fact, I want to select two position of working in my lights (with a simple switch).
In first position, I want my lights work like now : OFF / LOW / HIGH.
In second position, I want my lights work like that : OFF / LOW / LOW+HI.
Is it really possible with the Montana kit ?
Thank's
