Oil filter for 300/400 Prairies....
#1
Just a heads up. Last weekend I used a Deustch D362 oil filter used on Honda Accords/Passports and Isuzu Rodeo/Trooper on my '99 Prairie 300. $2.50 at Autozone. I assume that other filters might work but since I have a Rodeo already I gave it a try. The filter is slightly wider and longer than stock. Now I don't have to make a special trip to the Kawasaki stealer for a $7 filter.

What would be the difference between running a spin on filter for a auto verses our ATVs?
I don't think the factory filter is anything special. My local Kaw dealer has them for $7
and driving a 20mile round trip isn't worth it for me. Plus it's one less filter that I have to worry about. I wonder if it would fit on my Harley.........
