What is the solution to the belt switch being triped when the belt is withen specs. I know several of you have already run accross this issue. How did you fix it. I've thought about just shorting the switch and disconnecting it. When I rode Polaris ATV's I just rode it until it felt mushy from a dead stop or I could hear belt pieces shredding in the housing. And to be completly honest I don't recomend doing it that way but I never had a problem with a shredding belt causing damage. I would just putter back and change the belt.
Thanks
