Well I broke a header stud this last weekend. It was partly my fault for continually tightening the header bolts(Any suggestions for keeping them tight?). The flanges bent(aluminum flange) and in doing so created a side load on the header stud which in turn snapped the stud after continuous tightening. I thought about removing the flanges and installing steel, but the side with the heat shield has stand-offs welded to the pipe so you can't slip the flange off without cutting it. The pipes are the DMC Alien, and they do rust(they are supposed to be Stainless Steel). Whats the best way to remove the broken stud it is flush with the surface of the head. I was thinking an easy-out?

I say easy out too. Simple to use and if the stud is'nt in there extremely tight, the easy out will work. If that does'nt work, it's time to get the drill out.
