Go out to one of the popular search engine sites such as:
www.dogpile.com
and search on shippers or ATV shippers. I would think that would give you some names to call and get prices. Some might need the quad to be crated and brought to a terminal for shipment, others might pick it up as is. You probably are going to need to know how much it weighs though.

Who is paying the freight you or the buyer?
Make sure you make note of that on the Bill of Lading.
Your choices are: Prepaid (you pay) or Collect (he pay's).
Insurance: Declare the replacement value on the "BOL" so if they break it, you have recourse. (Don't laugh, I had a skid of 5 gallon pails going to Singapore completely disappear)
Most of the carriers have tailgate service (a lift gate on the back of the trailer), it does cost more usually though.
As far as cost, good luck. Your considered a one time move, hence they won't be too aggressive on pricing.
Some other companies:
UPS logistics (I had a quad shipped from FL to MA for $140.00)
Yellow
Vining
A Duie Pyle
The list goes on & on.
If you can find a “Packaging Store” they could crate it up. There is one near us that crates up all kinds of stuff. Check in the yellow pages, shipping, packaging.
Hope this helps some.
