D1 or D2
#1
I know what the difference between D1 and D2 on the Rubicon is suppose to be but has anyone noticed a real difference. Mine seems to operate fine but there doesn't seem to be an advantage to D2. If anything I would say it pulls less in D2.
#2
I use D2 for trail riding if the ground is fairly level, there has been some ruby owners that have had clutch trouble from running in D2,it seems that it doesnt backshift near as fast in D2 as it does in D1. Thats why I only use it when there is no chance of straining the clutch.Otherwise I use D1 most of the time, and Low for towing, hill climbing & slow technical riding.Remember when in doubt use LOW.
