Considering buying a 250 ex. Does this machine have enough power for a large adult? I would be riding with my kids and wife mostly so I was thinking that the clutchless design and the shaft drive would be assets. But I am a pretty big guy and wonder if the 250 would be enough.
Thanks
Jon

well how big of a guy are you??? I need height plus weight to know.
If ur like 250lbs the 250EX would snap in two. How big are ur kids and how old? If ur kids are small and u are big, then i would suggest u buying two quads the 250EX and the 400EX.

Well a 250EX is great for a kid my size but for a man you should get a bigger Utility quad like a foreman 400 or something. the foreman is also easy for the kids. it was the first quad i ever road and i handled it pretty well. It is shaft driven and has auto-clutch like you want.

A 2wd would be easier for the kids and wife to steer, and also less expensive. I think a Rancher 2X4 would suit you well. Big enough for you but easy to handle too. It is also shaft drive auto clutch.

Well that helps. Looks like the Polaris 500 4x4. I looked at the 400 ex but no reverse. (trail rider) I also like the idea of 4x4. Not a true sport or utility quad but for a dad like me that is going to pull the kids out of the mud and may jump off and hit a couple of jumps on my own it my be the "best of both worlds"
Thanks

Jon
