Just wanted to know which one is faster in drag race? Is the Prairie 650 quicker accelerating and faster in top speed than a Honda 400ex? I would like to here from all of you who have raced them. I know the 400ex will smoke the Prairie on a track, but line them up for a straight-line race and which one is quicker and faster? I would like to hear from people who own Honda 400ex as well Prairie 650 owners.
Thanks

I raced a newer prairie 650 this fall aginst my 450ex and by the time I was in high gear I had 8 bikes on this quad .....my guess is it is about even with a stock 400 or just a little faster ....they are surprizingly fast

Thanks for the info guy's. I was hoping that I would get a response from some one who has owned both, and get an honest reply. I wanted the 650 to perform double duty. Sport and 4x4, so I figured if it was as quick and as fast as a 400ex, that would provide enough sport, and it would also be an awesome 4x4. Truly the best of both worlds. I bought one last Monday :-) Now if only I hadn't just completely restored my 350x and installed a big bore kit :-) I guess its time to sale it :-)
