I bought a used SP500 with 4000 miles on it and recently, I had to replace the drive belt due to slippage. I noticed that the drive clutch sheaves are worn excessively in the bottom of the groove. Since I need to replace the drive clutch anyway, I would like to know what is the best replacement setup to accomodate my riding habits. Should I go stock or aftermarket? Any other changes I should make? I ride mostly 0-25 mph with some mud and some hills mixed in.

Thanks for the help on this. I have read the forum posts on the various kits but nothing seems to fit my application and riding preferences. I want to fix it right the first time.

Does your SP500 have EBS? I have heard that the grooves happen if it is ridden in high gear but slow speeds although 4000 miles isn't too bad. I too am interested in getting a little more aggressive clutching.
