Can anybody help? I have a SP500 and I bought douglas 190 wheels. But my rear studs are too short. I need a longer stud about a quarter inch. Douglas Wheels was no help what so ever. They said I needed a stud kit. But do they sell one "$ell no", and they didnt know where to buy one. I have my dealership looking for them but no luck so far. I have contacted all the normal places: rocky mountain, dennis kirk, durablue. Can anybody help?

I had the same problem with my rear studs on my xplorer. I added wheel spacers and then I could only get maybe 2 threads on the stud. I went to lowes home improvement warehouse. The studs are 1/2". Just get them the length that you want. They have many sizes. I also bought locking washers and bought 1/2" lug nuts from advanced auto parts for about 5 bucks. The total cost for 8 new wheel studs and lug nuts was about 10 bucks.

Sad to say MADDOGGY,but douglas wheels will not help you with this problem I called and checked with them before I bought my wheels and they responded back to me with a Stupid answer. They said that they had heard that the .190 wheels wouldnt work on some POLARIS models, and that I would need longer studs on the rear and that I needed to buy longer studs, when I asked the guy for A good source to purchase these so called longer studs he had no ideal where to buy them but,he knew I would have to have them to make the wheels work.So much for there research and developement dept.I bought the ITP aluminum wheels instead and they worked great with no modifications sorry you had to find out the hard way but DOUGLAS does not support there products very well, just my 2 cents worth.

Buy yourself 8 new REAR studs and put them in the front hubs.

Then on the rear, I removed the hubs and had .120" or so turned off of the face.

Works for me!
