I see you found Bombardier's advertisement in the April DirtWheels. Here's the whole story...
With a powerful, merciless 653cc liquid-cooled 4 stroke Rotax engine, the Bambardier DS650 ATV isn't your average trail quad. It's the fastest production model on the market, with 23% more horsepower and 14% more torque than the Yamaha Raptor. It's so fast, it won the famous Baja 2000 Challenge right out of the box. But it's equally at home on the dunes or a hard-packed trail, thanks to a sport-tuned suspension and a longer, wider platform than any other production sport ATV. All of which make the DS650 a real hit with trail riders around the world.
I think RAPTORMEAN is just dissappointed that his $6500 toy isn't the best available. Don't worry, we all make mistakes. In your case, you chose a Yamaha. I'm sorry.

What are you saying? Are you saying that you think that thier is a stock raptor that has a higher top speed than a stock Baja? Why do these guies think Raptors are so fast? They only have about 34-35 hp at the wheels stock when DS's have around 40-42 hp at the wheels stock. My DS even hitting the rev limiter at 7700 rpm is still at a higher top speed than my friends 2002 Raptor will get.Raptors top speed arent even hitting a rev limiter. That is just all that thier motor will pull. Now a Baja hitting the rev limiter at 7900-8000rpm will be moving even faster than mine.
