I had mine done in Suzuki blue like on a quadracer/quadzilla. It is just slightly lighter than my blue Maier.
Take a look http://www.newquadsmyquad.homestead....es/new89R2.jpg

When I was looking to have A wheelie bar that I built powder coated "post office blue" was fairly close.
Be warned however that none of the places I checked with (8 diffrent shops) had that color in stock & said it would cost an EXTRA $100 to order a color they didn't stock!

I decided to have my wheelie bar chromed instead. The price was the same as an in stock color ($80 for all 6 pieces). The hard part is it's hard to find a chrome shop that still takes in outside work (only 2 out of 15 shops in Tulsa). But if you can find a shop in your area it could be cheaper than powder coating in a special order color.

Unless you have enough things to powder coat to to use 5lbs of powder (thats the usual minimum order) then You may not have to pay the extra $100.

You may try to ckeck with your local Yamaha dealer they may know a shop that stocks Yamaha colors. Good luck.

Are you sending it out or walking in the powdercoat shop? Every shop I have been in has little rectangle plates painted with all their standard colors. You just pick the one thats closest. The shop I use has a blue that is dead on yz blue. They call it Carolina Grating Blue because it is the color for a company by that name that gets lots of work done there. I dont know what the standard name or number for that color is though.
