Hey, I couldn't help but notice in your signature that you have RM controls on your wheeler, and was wondering if the brake lever worked all right. I plan on swapping mine (its broke, anyways) with one from a bike (RM, prolly), because I want to put them there short polished levers with the soft, colored inserts on (I think they're MSR's in the Rocky Mtn ATV catalog).......So how do they work? Thanks......

DANG! That's the only part I don't have... I should have put that in my sig... I was planning on replacing it with the RM one, but I'm not sure... I might...

Dirt wheels did an article on a Duncan Zilla and the recommended CR perch and lever. I'm tryin it myself when I get the beast back together in a couple of weeks.

Keep us posted. I too am considering replacing the ugly, outdated, stock controls on my LT and going with the RM levers. By the way , 86 QuAdRaCeR, did the clutch perch and lever off the RM fit on the LT all right? Which clutch cable did you use, the RM or LT? Thanks in advance.

hey guys, i use a RTC clutch lever and i love it. it's two-way adjustable. The RTC brake lever is three way adjustable, so it can be fitted for you preference. their kind of expencive though... i paid $50 for a polished clutch lever, polished perch and shipping. but i really love mine

The clutch and perch went right on no problem. I used the RM cable, and deleted the whole parking brake thingy on the 86. (LT unit was trashed)

Keep in mind I used the RM engine, too. I think that the clutch and everything are pretty much identical to the 87+ LTs anyway so it might not matter....

I'll consider getting the RM Brake perch/lever now... my LT one is kinda crappy... I took a look at the RM one and noticed it's a bit smaller... eh... I'll ask around...

Just a thought....I wonder if its smaller because there's only 1 brake caliper on the bike instead of 2 on the quad.....I dunno, but do tell how it works!........Thanks......
