My son has a 99 scrambler 500 HO. I saw the other posts concerning the bulbs. Does anyone have a number for an aftermarket/auto parts store bulb that will work. I haven't been able to find one that is made like the one on the bike with the three wire terminals coming out of it. I don't want to pay the 24 apiece from the dealer. Also what about after market polaris decals/graphics that actually say polaris??? Thanks

go to your local auto parts store get sylvania part#9007 cool bulb cost 14.00 modifcation required make sure the high beam watts are no larger than 55watts or you'll melt the lens pull the old bulbs out of the plastic housing next take the new bulbs out of there housing you have to dig the silocone out careful not to touch the bulb use rubbing alcohol to clean it if you do straightin the leads out on the new bulbs compare them to the old bulbs bend the leads where they need to be bent cut remainder off insert into old bulbs plastic connector the way you took the old ones out they work better than originals

I went to an Autozone, and got two 100w bulbs for $3.99 a piece. They are also sylvania.

I dont know about the bulbs but the only after market graphics i have seen are the ones that factory effex makes. Their web site is www.factoryeffex.com or you can call 800-866-0709 for a free catalog. Hope this helps.
