I updated my Photos page to include a friend of mine's Canondale FX400. You will see that it's red. I have another friend that is setting his up with painted Black plastic. His is the last photo in the Canondale series. His is still not complete.

It's a DuraBlue +3 axle (adjustable length).

He sent his stock Ohlins in and had them upgraded to piggy backs. Ohlin did the work.

Looks great!! I like the polished frame. How long did it take? I've got about 4 hours of polishing in and only have the bumper and rear grab bar done.

Special,

It looks like a Durablue Axle based on the sticker that in one of the pictures.

What kind of nerfs are they? I'd like to know the turn around time and price on the Ohlins also.

The frame polishing takes as long as you want it to. I tried to really hit the spots I knew were going to be visible, yet I wanted the whole frame done. The swingarm was the worst because of the castings. It took a lot of sanding to get the castings smooth but I think it's the best looking part. The shocks are the stockers that we sent back to Ohlins. They say they just added a second spring and the reservoirs but if you look at them, there isn't much left thats stock. The top takes new bushings to mount to the quad and the bottoms are flat now instead of cone shaped. They claim it's new setup and I can't say that they look like any of the pictures of the Blazes I've seen. I haven't got mine together yet to try, but my friend(the red FX) has and so far is very impressed. Haven't received the bill yet but was quoted at $300 a set. Call Mike in service at Ohlins if you are interested.
