I was just wondering if I had a little port work done and installed some web cam mid-top race cams if this would affect the machines ability to idle with the stock carb?? Thanks in advance.

I have the race-cams and they rule. I have the dynojet kit from when I got my exhaust and the I dont have a problem with the idle at all, But i suggest to get heavy duty vavle springs and a klr250 black box if you are going to do that. Otherwise you'll keep on hitting the rev limiter.

mxracer 98, Do you have to send your cams to web and they weld them up or do you just have to send yours as a core. I was planning on having my black box sent to fst for the black box mod and I was going to order springs from web with chromoly retainers. Tell me more about the cams. Did they really make a big difference in power? Around what throttle range do you really notice the power? With those cams the engine must build revs much quicker than stock and also rev more right. Thanks for your help.

I called up and they told me if I want my cams back, to leave a note in the box or tell them to not exchange the cores so you get your cams back, Low end suffers a little bit but when you shift into 2nd its like a rocket, you can notice a huge diffrence and I recomend them to everyone, I thoink i just got the steel vavles but heavy duty, its revs so much higher and it is so much faster too.
