My four wheeler is brand new 02 and I wondered how difficult it was for some of you to jet and pipe your Raptors. Also what jets did you guys go with. 175/170? with the pro design intake and lid off.

If you are not mechanically inclined, have someone that is install the kit for you. The kit should come with the prescribed mains.

I build my motors, jet my bikes,do it all. MY QUESTION was for SOMEONE who has purchased the kit and installed it, how long did it take and I havent messed with a Raptor yet and just wondered how long it would take to do it on the Yamaha.

Hey Shock it took me about 3 hours. Im sure it can be done quicker no doubt as I dont claim to be mechanically inclined in the least bit. Honestly if you build moters it'll be a snap! The kit comes with 2 titanium needles and various jets as no two bikes are 100% exact, close yes but never exact. I dyno'ed mine and put 180/185 a little rich for PHX but perfect for Glamis. Good luck and enjoy it ! I rode Gabes raptor just to remember the difference and trust me you'll know the diff

Took around 2 hours. I had 180/185 with dynojet needles, and way to rich ( I was expecting to run in Toronto in the winter, but still to rich). I ended up with 175/180 back to stock needles with stock pilot. The benefit of buying this 'kit' is that CT knows what jetting to run. You don't have to play around too much.

The difference between this setup and the stock will shock you. If you have a buddy who has a stock one around, invite him over to do the comparison.....
